It's Giveaway Day, hosted by Sew, Mama, Sew! I didn't participate last year, but I'm so happy to be a part of it this year.
I have this "Orange Slice" pillow that I made earlier in the year to give away. I'm not only giving away the pillow cover, but the insert that goes along with it! If you'd like to read the story behind it, check it out here.
Also included in this giveaway are two bags of scraps. If you haven't read my previous blog post, I mentioned that I was trying to organize my new craft room, and realized I had way too many scraps. Then I realized it was almost Giveaway Day, so I thought what better way to rid myself of some of these scraps without throwing them out (I can't bear to throw out decent scraps), than to include them in a giveaway!
One bag is a rainbow assortment of scraps - some good, some bad (they're mostly good), but all free to a good home!
The other bag is an assortment of Christmas fabrics. I've just finished making a Christmas quilt, plus a few other Christmasy things, and I had Christmas scraps coming out of my ears! Just please, if you're the one who wins this giveaway, don't laugh at how small some of the scraps are. Like I said, I really hate throwing out decent scraps, and sometimes what I define as decent is pretty small. But don't worry, there are very generous sized scraps, too.
All you have to do to enter my giveaway is leave a comment. Specifically, tell me what sewing-related project you're currently working on.
Right now, I'm working on finishing up a quilt for my oldest daughter. A few weeks ago, I picked it up after it had been neglected for almost a year, and felt really confident that I'd finish it quickly. However, I'm finding it very hard to finish it right now! Lots and lots and lots of straight line quilting.
The giveaway will be open until 5:00 pm PST, Friday, December 16, and I'll announce the winner sometime after that.
Good luck and make sure to check out all the other fantastic giveaways!
Edited: My giveaway is only open to people in the States.
Also, Make sure I have a way to contact you! I'm getting a lot of "no reply" comments!

I've never made anything stuffed before, so we'll see how that little project turn out! ;)
