A few weeks ago I mentioned that I finished up a quilt top for my almost-here baby (my due date is in one month!). Well, over the weekend, I whipped up the back of the quilt and got it basted. Started quilting it Monday night, and finished the quilting yesterday. All that's left is the binding, which is cut and ready to go! So I'm happy to say that this WiP will be done today (hopefully), and (more importantly) before the baby comes, which is a huge sense of accomplishment for me! And for that reason, I won't list my other WiPs, because I want to keep that sense of accomplishment going, and that list will just bring me down.
Oh, on that first Biggie Ziggie post, I asked for suggestions on how to quilt it. I got some great suggestions, but the one I went with was MeganAnne's suggestion of echoing the zig zags, but with randomly spaced lines. I really love the way it turned out!
Linking up to WiP Wednesday - check out all the other WiPs this week!
Cool! That's a great binding, too!

I LOVE how it doesn't look like a baby quilt. It can be something he can use through many stages in life. That's not an easy task. Looks GREAT!
ReplyDeleteso cool to see a little bit of this quilted up. That binding is seriously cute! I'm excited that you liked my suggestion.
