Ouch - A Lesson in Contentment by Kendall

While I was cutting up some fabric today, Kendall was playing with play dough. She said she wanted more, and I told her to be content with what she had. I then went on to explain what contentment means.

About a minute later, she says to me, "Mama, you be tent with fabwic. You don't get more fabwic. You be tent."

She told me!

  1. Yay! I am not the only one getting comments from my little one. Daddy got one the other day...we are in the middle of potty training, and we are using stickers as rewards. We were eating dinner and my husband got up to pee, he came back to the table and my daughter looked at him and said " Daddy great job, do you want a sticker?" I had to laugh it was perfect!

  2. LOL @ Little Kendall. You should explain to her that "contentment" never applies to us fabriholics :-) We have a sickness that can only be cured with textiles.
